<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication system that can enhance the communication quality and communication reliability. SOLUTION: A utopia bus 12 interconnects a control card 10 and channel cards 11-1 to 11-n, and a cell reception section 100 of the control card 10 is provided with: an interface means that makes polling to confirm whether or not each of the channel cards 11-1 to 11-n is in a cell transmission waiting state and receives a cell from a channel card in the cell transmission waiting state; and an arbitration means that decreases a polling period of the channel card more than a polling period in an ordinary state when there is the channel card whose number of cells is less than a setting value.</p> |
