PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a load distribution method capable of solving problems of a conventional method that cannot have efficiently utilized a plurality of mirror servers because a server side cannot uniformly share connections from clients to a plurality of the mirror servers resulting in unable to uniformize a load imposed on a plurality of the mirror servers. SOLUTION: The contents distribution system of this invention is configured such that a connection distributor 30 installed between an edge router 21 and a contents server 40 properly distributes the connection from a client 10 to a plurality of the mirror servers 40-1 to 40-4 being components of the contents server 40.
