PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an antenna that can reduce the ratio of reception gain in a fault radio wave to that in a target radio wave as compared with a case, where dimensions are changed in each element or the like for composing the antenna when transmitting and receiving the target radio wave. SOLUTION: An antenna 1 for PHS base stations receives a synthetic radio wave where a reception radio wave after conversion obtained by performing the phase conversion of a reception radio wave at an antenna section 13 for removal is superposed to a reception radio wave at an antenna body section 11. The antenna 1 for PHS base stations can set the ratio of fault radio waves to target radio waves included in the synthetic radio wave to be smaller than that of the fault radio wave to the target radio wave included in the reception radio wave in the antenna body section 11. Therefore, the gain of the fault radio wave can be reduced as compared with a case for adjusting only the directivity of the antenna body section 11 according to the antenna 1 for PHS base stations, thus inhibiting influence by fault radio waves and accurately receiving target radio waves.
