PURPOSE: A method of opening/closing a door using a mobile communication terminal is provided to output a key code with a light emitting diode of the terminal, and to open/close the door depending on whether the key code is exactly inputted through an optical receiving device of the door, thereby enhancing a security function. CONSTITUTION: A mobile communication terminal inputs a combination of optional numbers to be used as a password. The mobile communication terminal sets the same value as the inputted password in an optical receiving device connected to a door opening/closing unit. In order to open a door where the password is set, the mobile communication terminal makes an optical signal outputting part of the mobile communication terminal toward the optical receiving device, and transmits an optical signal set to the password. The mobile communication terminal decides whether the received signal is the same as the preset password of the optical receiving device. The mobile communication terminal opens/closes the door depending on whether the password is the same.
