摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten the charging time as much as possible while suppressing temperature rise of a unit being charged, and prevent abnormal temperature rise even when a metallic foreign matter is placed at a charging part. SOLUTION: A charging part set longitudinally with a bar code reader 1 incorporating a secondary battery 4 is provided on the upper surface of the case of a charger 2. A power receiving coil 5 is provided at the lower end in the body case of the bar code reader 1, and a power transmitting coil 11 coupled electromagnetically with the power receiving coil 5 is provided at a lower part of the charging part of the charger 2. A temperature sensor 14 for detecting the temperature of the power transmitting coil 11 is provided. A charging control circuit 10 controls the charging operation such that the charging current increases when the detection temperature of the temperature sensor 14 is not higher than a set level, and the charging current decreases when the detection temperature exceeds the set level.
