PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless communication device that can integrally assign a wireless channel to an AV digital signal, an AV control signal, an asynchronous digital signal such as a data signal to a plurality of terminals and to provide a wireless communication system having the wireless communication device. SOLUTION: A communication section 10 utilizes an AV digital signal channel to transmit an AV digital signal received by an AV I/F 14 to a display device 3. Further, a communication section 11 transmits/receives an asynchronous digital signal to/from wireless LAN terminals 2-1 to 2-n by using an asynchronous digital signal channel. The channel used for transmission of the AV digital signal to the display device 3 is made different from the channel used for building up a wireless LAN with the wireless LAN terminals 2-1 to 2-n in this way. The AV control signal or the like is transmitted by using the different channel so as to take it into account that the transmission band width of the AV digital signal is not reduced. |
