摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of manufacturing a lithium ion polymer battery with no unnecessary gaps between electrodes inside a power generating element (each electrode uniformly adheres a solid electrolyte layer) and high battery characteristics and to provide a lithium ion polymer battery obtained by using this method. SOLUTION: This lithium ion polymer battery has a power generating element containing one or a plurality of units formed by interposing a solid electrolyte layer mainly comprising a salt, a compatible solvent, and a porous body of a fluorine polymer having vinylidene fluoride as a main unit between a positive electrode and a negative electrode, and the method of manufacturing the lithium ion polymer battery contains a stacking process forming a stacked structure containing one or a plurality of units formed by interposing the porous body of the fluorine polymer having vinylidene fluoride as the main unit between the positive electrode and the negative electrode; a drying process heating and drying the stacked structure obtained in the stacking process under reduced pressure; and an impregnation process impregnating the electrolyte containing the salt and the compatible solvent in the dried stacked structure to form the power generating element. The lithium ion polymer battery is manufactured by this method.
