PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a service of delivering a desired souvenir of a destination country to traveler's house without having a traveler purchase it on the spot at the time of going on an overseas trip. SOLUTION: An overseas traveler accesses a homepage of a travel agency through the Internet, orders desired merchandise (souvenir) and specifies a delivery date and the travel agency orders a store of a country handling the ordered merchandise. The store which receives the order arranges the merchandise and delivers it to an airline company and the airline company delivers the merchandise by air mail. The travel agency requests pickup of the merchandise and delivery to the traveler's house to a physical distribution company and the physical distribution company delivers the merchandise to the traveler's house on the specified delivery date. |
