PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a musical sound producing device in which the reproduction of play data can be started from an arbitrary position and count-in operation can be performed corresponding to a temporal position to actually start the reproduction of musical sounds in the automatically playable musical sound producing device provided with a function, so-called count-in function, for generating a tempo sound before the reproduction of musical sounds. SOLUTION: The musical sound producing device is provided with a tempo sound producing means, in which the tempo sound can be produced with the proceedings of music data, a reproduction starting position setting means for setting a position in music to start the reproduction of musical sounds (musical sound reproduction starting position) and a control means for controlling the tempo sound producing means so that the tempo sound can be produced at a beat position in the music data from the start of a measure preceding to a measure including the musical sound reproduction starting position for a prescribed number to just before the musical sound reproduction starting position with a tempo at the musical sound reproduction starting position and no sound can be produced in the beat just before the reproduction starting position. |
