PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device by which an apparatus is temporarily retained on a square-pillar arm in order to practice a permanent retaining work efficiently. SOLUTION: A retaining frame A, comprising a standing tab 3 brought into contact with one side surface 6 of a square-pillar arm B and a put-on plate 4 which is connected with the standing tab 3 and put on the upper surface of the arm B, is erected on an apparatus R. An engagement tab 8, brought into contact with the other side surface 6' of the arm B, facing the one side surface 6, is rotatably attached to one end of the put-on plate 4 of the retaining frame 4 with a shaft.
