PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that a conventional lens that is fitted to an area image sensor and used for calculation for the amount of movement is a single focus lens whose focus position is fixed on the surface of an original, so that only a single function for calculating the amount of movement is used though the area image sensor is mounted, related to an image scanner. SOLUTION: By providing a mechanism that controls a focus position of a lens unit 3 fitted to an area image sensor 4, the single area image sensor 4 has a combination of a function for calculating the amount of movement and a camera function. |
