摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the measurement of the optical axis deviation of an imaging camera even when the image distortion in which the one side of the periphery of the image is elongated and the opposite side is contracted due to the optical axis deviation, occurs. SOLUTION: The method for measuring the optical axis of the imaging camera comprises the steps of imposing a marker signal PC2 indicating the central position of the imaging element of the camera on the display screen in the state in which a circular pattern 1E displaying a predetermined range including the central point 1B of a subject 1 imaged by the camera 3 is displayed on the display screen 9A of a monitor, measuring the positional relationship between the pattern 1E and the signal PC2 on the screen 9A to obtain a deviating angleθof the optical axis of the lens 3 of the camera 3, thereby facilitating the measuring work of the angleθ.
