PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pulse power source which is capable of various patterns of discharge so as to control an accelerator elaborately. SOLUTION: A pulse power source generates a pulse current by on/off control of a semiconductor switch for start from a capacitor being charged initially and supplies it to load, and is equipped with a clover circuit where a clover switch unit being made by connecting plural pieces of circuits in each of which a semiconductor switch for clover and resistance are connected in series, and a diode in series. The semiconductor switch for a clover is turned on or turned off so that the resistance value of the above clover switch unit may increase and decrease in order in the attenuation process of pulse waveform.
