PURPOSE: A path guiding method is provided to be capable of providing a convenient path guidance to a user. CONSTITUTION: A mobile terminal inputs current position information and destination information, which are transferred to an information center through a wireless network(1301). The information center searches an optimum running path between the current position and a destination on the basis of map data, generates path guidance data for guiding a plurality of node points on the optimum running path, and transfers the path guidance data to the mobile terminal via the wireless network(1302). The mobile terminal receives the path guidance data and transfers the path guidance data to an ITS station. The ITS station receives and stores the path guidance data and confirms a distance between the first node point of the current position and the second node point of the destination(1303). When the distance is below a reference distance(1304), the ITS station displays a main guidance screen for displaying running information for the first node point and an auxiliary guidance screen for displaying running information for the second node point(1305).
