摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently discharge water within a fuel electrode and an air electrode to a side of cooling water upon starting from a low-temperature state in a fuel cell stack, in which a cooling water flow path is connected to both fuel gas flow path and air flow path through a porous plate, so as to solve a problem of water clogging while retaining water balance. SOLUTION: Upon starting at a low temperature that condensation of water occurs within a fuel cell, the pressure of cooling water at an inlet of a fuel cell stack is controlled lower than a pressure used in operation of the fuel cell stack in a steady state before warming of the fuel cell stack is completed, and the pressure of the cooling water at the inlet of the fuel cell stack is controlled to the pressure used in operation of the fuel cell stack in the steady state after warming of the fuel cell stack is completed.
