PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for preventing the illegal copy of application software by a simple means in a data communication server system by application software between a portable telephone and a server. SOLUTION: A portable telephone equipped with application software downloaded from a server and a server being a download site for communicating based on the application software are provided with a database (authentication DB) for application software management, and the authentication DB is provided with the prescribed number of terminal ID corresponding to the portable telephones for limiting the number of the portable telephones and an ON/OFF flag for switching a communication service with the portable telephone corresponding to each terminal ID to validity/invalidity. Then, the ON/OFF flag is switched from OFF leading to the invalidity of a communication service to ON leading to the validity of the communication service or vice versa according to the operation of the portable telephone. |
