PURPOSE: A plasma display panel is provided to achieve improved uniformity of luminance by permitting barrier ribs to have different pitches, thicknesses and heights. CONSTITUTION: A plasma display panel comprises an upper substrate(31) on which a pair of sustaining electrodes(32), an upper dielectric layer(34) and a protection film(35) are formed; and a lower substrate(36) on which an address electrode(37X), a lower dielectric layer(38), a barrier rib(39) and a phosphor layer(40). The upper substrate and the lower substrate are spaced apart from each other by the barrier rib. The barrier rib of the plasma display panel has the largest pitch at the center of the plasma display panel, and the pitch decreases as it goes from the center toward the peripheral part of the plasma display panel. |
