PURPOSE: A transport apparatus with a laser-detected sensor part is provided to exactly detect the position of a body, and lengthen the life span of the sensor part. CONSTITUTION: A transport apparatus(22) with a laser-detected sensor part includes a body(24) on which articles are loaded; a driving part(26) moving the body; a sensor part(28) detecting the position of the body; and a control part(30) controlling drive of the driving part, according to data of the sensor part, a program, and a user's operating signal. The sensor part applies a laser beam(38) towards a reflecting device(32) installed on the moving path of the body and detects the position of the body based on data taken from the laser beam reflected from the reflecting device.
