PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-pressure fire resistant cable with a fire resistant insulating layer on a conductor, formed of a silicone resin composition, having good fire resistance and higher electric insulation in the fire resistant insulating layer during heating. SOLUTION: The silicone resin composition is such that lipophilic smectite as well as glass frit containing alkaline metal having an apparent initial softening of 500 deg.C or lower and an apparent initial crystallization of 840 deg.C or lower are added to a silicone resin. The low-pressure fire resistant cable is provided with the fire resistant insulating layer 2 formed of the silicone resin composition and crosslinked onto the conductor 1. |
