PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve a Colpitts type crystal oscillation circuit whose oscillation amplitude varies less to temperature variation. SOLUTION: A voltage that is generated by connecting a current source 111 having nearly constant temperature characteristics or a negative inclination to temperature variation to a resistor 104, having a first temperature characteristic having a small temperature variation is given to the base of a transistor 107 in the Colpitts type crystal oscillation circuit. Conversely, a resistor 109 having a second temperature characteristics having relatively large temperature variation is connected between the emitter of the transistor 107 and the ground, and a resistor 108 having a first temperature characteristic is connected between the collector of the transistor and a power supply terminal as a load resistor.
