PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disk drive device suppressing the deterioration of the rotational characteristic of a disk due to fast rotation. SOLUTION: In this disk drive provided with a tray 5, disposed between an operating position housed inside the main body and a disk loading and extracting position projected outside in a displaceable manner and also formed with a loading part with a disk 3 loaded thereon, inner wall surfaces 5a, 5b, 5c and 5d forming the loading part are provided with an escape opening 5e for letting air flow to the outside of the main body, and air flow that rotates following in the fast rotation of the disk 3 is thereby made to flow out of the escape opening 5e to a flow outlet 6a.
