PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Internet phone system that can use a telephone number of a conventional phone and can be used at a low charge. SOLUTION: A server 125 in the Internet phone system 100 has a DB 127 that stores a telephone number of Internet phone 147 and an IP address in cross-reference with each other. One Internet phone 103 has a phone 106 and an Internet voice communication means (VoIP protocol processing/voice conversion/IP address acquisition program, CPU) that utilizes IP address in cross-reference with the telephone number acquired from the DB 127 of the server 125 when the phone 106 receives a telephone number of the other Internet phone 147, and connects to the other Internet phone 147 via the Internet 124 so as to attain voice communication.
