PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain good display quality employing a relatively simple constitution while displaying TV signals on a liquid crystal display panel or the like by interlace video signals. SOLUTION: A four latch system sample-and-hold circuit 30 is used in a source driver which applies signal voltages to the source line of an LCD. In the circuit 30, interlace display signals are alternatively sampled for every horizontal scanning interval by the group of sample-and-hold capacitors CSH1/CSH 2 and the group of sample-and-hold capacitors CSH3/CSH4 and the signals are successively outputted to an amplifier 40. A switch SW5 conducts a switching control of the connection between an inversion input terminal 51 of a differential amplifier 50 and an output terminal 42 of the amplifier 40 or a 1/2VD voltage terminal 60. A switch SW6 conducts a switching control of the connection between a non-inversion input terminal 52 and the terminal 42 or a 1/2VD voltage terminal 61.
