PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile telephone set that can immediately display an optionally revised key and character information depending on each entry state of numerals, Kana (Japanese syllabary) and English letters or the like. SOLUTION: The mobile telephone set adopting a key revision function is constituted to comprise: a key revision means that selects an optional key layout among a plurality of preset key layouts and replaces the entire keys so as to obtain the selected key layout by means of batch replacement; and a key revision means that selects a key of a revision object, selects a key being a revision object replaced with the revision object key and replaces the keys with each other by means of individual key replacement.
