HEAT PUMP TYPE HOT WATER SUPPLY DEVICE

A hot water supply device has a hot water storage tank(3),and a circulation line(12)connecting a water intake port(10)in the bottom of the hot water storage tank(3)to a hot water inlet port(11)in the top of the hot water storage tank(3).Placed in the circulation line(12)are a water circulation pump(13)and a heat exchange line(14).A boiling operation is performed by heating the heat exchange line(14)by a heat pump type heat source to boil the unheated water from the water intake port(10)and returning the boiling water to the hot water inlet port(11).The circulation line(12)is provided with a bypass flow path(17)branching from the hot water inlet port(11)and connected to the bottom of the hot water storage tank(3).If the open−air temperature is not more than the freeze prevention reference open−air temperature,a freeze prevention operation is performed for circulation by driving the water circulation pump(13)and returning the water from the hot water storage tank(3)to the hot water storage tank(3)through the bypass flow path(17).
