PURPOSE: A wireless PBX system and an operating method thereof are provided to process a speech path by distinguishing a speech path setup, depending on whether base stations and line cards of each caller are the same, thereby efficiently operating the speech path setup. CONSTITUTION: Many line cards(220_1,220_2,....220_n) have ADPCM switching modules(224_1,224_2,....224_n) processing handover between subscribers included in other base stations(230_11,230_18,230_21,....230_28,230_n1,....230_n8) within the same line cards(220_1,220_2,....220_n). A main control card(210) has a main switching module(212) processing handover between subscribers included in the base stations(230_11,230_18,230_21,....230_28,230_n1,....230_n8) within one of the line cards(220_1,220_2,....220_n) and subscribers included in the base stations(230_11,230_18,230_21,....230_28,230_n1,....230_n8) within other line cards(220_1,220_2,....220_n), among the line cards(220_1,220_2,....220_n). |
