The invention concerns a device (10) for preparing a beverage by mixing soluble products with a liquid, comprising a single-piece shell (12) having a first orifice (14) for inserting soluble products, at least a mixing chamber (32) provided with a second orifice (16) for delivering the beverage after internal mixing of the soluble products with the liquid, means for extracting vapour generated during the mixing phase with a hot liquid, and means for fluid and mechanical connection. The rear surface of the shell (12) is equipped with said fluid and mechanical connection means, which are interlocked in a single thrusting movements in the holes (62, 64, 66, 68) of a fixed mounting plate (32) to provide automatic connection to all the vapour extracting, liquid supplying and mechanical coupling members. The invention is applicable to an automatic beverage dispensing machine.
