MICROARRAYS FOR DETECTION OF GENE EXPRESSION ASSOCIATED WITH LIVER CANCER AND METHOD FOR DIAGNOSIS OF LIVER CANCER USING THE SAME

PURPOSE: Microarrays for detection of gene expression associated with liver cancer and a method for diagnosis of liver cancer using the same are provided, to diagnose the liver cancer effectively. CONSTITUTION: A method for diagnosis of liver cancer by detection of protein or enzyme expression associated with liver cancer comprises the steps of: reverse-transcription of mRNA isolated from the normal cells and liver cells to obtain a plurality of cDNAs and labeling Cy5-dUTP to the cDNAs; reverse-transcription of mRNA isolated from the placenta to obtain a plurality of cDNAs and labeling Cy3-dUTP to the cDNAs as a control; mixing the Cy5-dUTP labeled cDNAs and Cy3-dUTP labeled cDNAs; and hybridization of the cDNA mixture with 44 kinds of microarrays, wherein the protein or the enzyme is expressed from the mutated gene of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).
