A support for a musical instrument manufactured from a soft pliable material is adapted to be attached to a vertical supporting surface. The fingerboard or neck of a musical instrument when stood upright on the floor below can be inserted in a socket provided of the support when the instrument is not in u se to thus provide a convenient and safe means of storage.
