The invention relates to a chain wheel (1) for a bush chain comprising a plurality of link plates (3, 4) which are arranged at a distance from each other in pairs, and are interconnected by means of link pins (5) or link bushes (6). The chain wheel (1) engages with the chain (2) between the link plates (3). Springs (9) co-operating with the chain are provided on both sides of the chain wheel (1), and attenuate the meshing of the chain wheel (1) in the chain (2). Furthermore, the springs (9) are embodied as spiral springs forming a peripheral, V-shaped groove with the chain wheel (1), and the spiral springs are embodied as closed disk springs (9) which are mounted on both sides of a hub projection (8). |
