The invention relates to a three-dimensional double-faced fabric which is produced on a weft knitting machine. The inventive fabric comprises two external faces which are connected by means of rows of binding threads. Said fabric is characterised in that it comprises hollow zones in which: the thread from a first external face works with the second external face; and the binding thread works with only one of the two external faces.
