<p>The invention presents methods of using Fourier transform infrared microspectroscopy (FTIR-MSP) for distinguishing between normal and abnormal human cells and for diagnosis and digital staging of human cells on biopsied samples. The invention further presents computational methods employing neural network (NN) based classifiers for diagnosis and digital staging of adenomatous polyp and malignant tissue types of biopsied samples of human cells.</p> |
