<p>A bis(phenylacetyl)benzene compound is reacted with a sulfoxide compound and a halide in the presence of an acid and an organic solvent. Also, a bis((-ketonitrile) compound is reacted in an acidic environment in the presence of water, a halide and a sulfoxide compound. It is thereby possible to produce bisbenzil compounds at a high yield and with high productivity.</p> |
