PURPOSE: A rear foothold device of a self-loader is provided to facilitate installation in a narrow space, to reduce the cost, to minimize deformation or defect rate caused by overload, and to pull a vehicle quickly and safely. CONSTITUTION: In a rear foothold device of a self loader, a foothold(10) is slid forward and backward along a guide rail by a hydraulic cylinder(32) and wires(30,30') installed on the sides of a loading compartment. The wire(30) is fixed to the foothold and a fixed bracket(14), and the wire(30') is fixed to the loading compartment. The wires are settled/combined to a driving roller(24) and a slave roller(26). Thus, reducing the size of the hydraulic cylinder facilitates installation in a narrow space, and deformation of load and breakage of the hydraulic cylinder are prevented.
