摘要 The oscillation damper (30) is connected (141) to the end of the line (15) from the master cylinder of a typical hydraulic braking system for a road vehicle, and the throttle and non-return valves are combined. In a typical installation, there is a throttle disc (35) with a central throttle aperture (36), centered by two opposed springs (37,38) and sliding inside a cylinder (34). A circumferential flange (341) on the cylinder fits in the inside diameter of the hydraulic line. Ports in the ends of the cylinder (342,343) allow free access of the hydraulic fluid to the disc. Additional ports (39,40) in the sides of the cylinder act as relief valves when the disc is pushed against the spring by a pressure difference caused by motion of the fluid. An Independent claim is made for a brake mechanism for a vehicle master brake cylinder.
