A bilge pump (10) having a mounting member (54) adapted to be mounted to a vessel and a base (26) movably engageable with the mounting member (54) and positionable in at least two positions relative to the mounting member (54). A housing (74) is releasably coupled to the base (26) and defines a cavity (86) for receiving a motor (142). A locking ring (174) is engageable with the motor (142) and the housing (74) to secure the motor (142) in the cavity while allowing the motor (142) to be movable with respect to the housing (74). The cavity (26) in the housing (74) communicates with an outlet portion (98) defining a socket (102). An outlet nozzle (106) having an outlet end (118) is movably received in the socket (102) so that the outlet end (118) can be moved relative to the housing (74).
