The invention relates to polyhedral oligomeric polyolefin compositions comprising silicon-oxygen cluster units and exhibiting an improved adherence. Polyolefin compositions that comprise, in particular, 0.1 to 20.0 wt. % of polyhedral oligomeric silicon-oxygen cluster units are particularly well-suited for use in hot-melts and coating compounds, hot-melt adhesives, hygiene articles, polyolefin films and fibers that can be embossed, hot-melt-type adhesives, carpet-back coatings, cable filling compounds, master batches and bituminous coatings of all types.
