<p>An information providing system capable of easily searching an information identifier for each user, each terminal, or each genre. This information providing system includes a center apparatus and a terminal communicating with the center apparatus. The center apparatus has storage means for storing for each user an information identifier, use count, and user information transmitted from the terminal and reply information transmission means for reading out as the reply information the information identifier, the use count, and the user information from the storage means in response to a transmission request from the terminal and transmitting them to the terminal. The terminal has transmission means for transmitting the information identifier of the information used at the terminal, the information use count, and the user information to the center apparatus, request means for transmitting a transmission request concerning the information used by its user to the center apparatus, reception means for receiving the reply information transmitted from the center apparatus, and output means for outputting it.</p> |
