The invention relates to a method and to a rubber blend for producing a composite body and to a composite body consisting of a rubber layer and an intermediate layer of polyurethane. As the composite body is produced from a rubber layer and an intermediate polyurethane layer, it is important that the polyurethane sole adheres firmly to the rubber layer. The adhesive properties are produced by a special rubber blend, whose unvulcanised rubber consists substantially of one component with an increased polarity and by the addition of a predominantly non-polar unvulcanised rubber. The stearin proportion is substantially reduced.
