The panel has edge flanges formed on the open faces of the panel end edges (15) defining the prism or cylinder shape of the panel. The edge flanges extend in an outwards direction from the panel in the face plane. The shuttering comprises a single piece or multi-part panel with a straight prism or cylindrical shape having open faces at opposite ends. The panel comprises a thin, rigid and optionally perforated material, preferably sheet metal, and is provided with a preferably trapezoidal profile (11) extending in planes parallel to the face planes. An independent claim is also included for a sheet metal section (20) used to form the panel, which has V-shaped recesses (21) of equal depth in the end edges extending parallel to the profiles, the recess apex (22) lying on a corner edge (23) of the prism or cylinder to be formed and also lying on a line along which the edge flange is bent.
