The invention concerns a method and a device for radiological imagery. The method consists in: illuminating a subject (4) with a light flux (1) produced by an X-ray source (2). Said light flux (1) is a pulse with duration tp less than 1 ms.; then detecting the signals S resulting from the interaction of the light flux (1) with the subject (4) by means of an X-ray detector (5) having a response time tr less than 0.1 ms. The invention is applicable in medical imagery (mammography, dental care, and the like)
