摘要 The invention relates to a method for carrying out object-oriented data communication between a first layer (MAC) and a second layer (PHY) of a data communication protocol, during which data and information concerning properties of the data are provided in a higher layer. The data are subsequently assigned to transport channels between the first layer (MAC) and the second layer (PHY), which are subdivided into data blocks according to the size of symbols. Color information serving as information concerning the properties of the symbol data is generated, and a header section containing the color information is placed in front of the symbol data. The symbol data and header section are transported from the first layer (MAC) to the second layer (PHY). The header section is used to guide the second layer (PHY) through a data communications process. The inventive method simplifies and, at the same time, standardizes the data exchange, which is characterized by the color , between the first layer (MAC) and the second layer (PHY).
