PURPOSE: To provide a contact lens for correcting the myopia and/or the astigmatism having a curve effective for the Oriental, especially for the Japanese. CONSTITUTION: This contact lens correcting the myopia and/or the astigmatism by changing the shape of the cornea of a patient is provided with a pressing region disposed in the center and having a first surface, or the inner surface in the cornea side of the patient being flatter recessed surface than the central surface curve in the cornea of the patient; a relief region disposed in the circumference of the pressing region and having a recessed second surface, or the inner surface in the cornea side of the patient, and an anchor surface disposed in the circumference of the relief region and having a recessed third surface, or the inner surface in the cornea side of the patient. This contact lens is characterized in that the first surface has a curvature determined based on the shape of the cornea of the patient for being shaped into a specific desired shape of the cornea of the patient and when the curvature of the first surface, the curvature of the second surface, and the curvature of the third surface are supposed to BC, RC, and AC, respectively, RC=BC+7.0-9.0D (diopter) and AC=BC +2.0-4.0D are satisfied.
