<p>A controllable equipment mount is provided that is adjustable to accommodate various loads. The controllable equipment mount comprises a base (30), a load plate (20), and a connecting mount (40) connecting the base (30) and the load plate (20). An internal chamber (50) is created which can be used to adjust the stiffness of the mount by adjusting pressure within the chamber (50),e.g., by introducing a gas through an air passageway (60). An electromagnetic augmentation unit may also be provided in the chamber for adjusting the stiffness within the chamber.</p> |
