PURPOSE: A device of sterilizing microorganisms in water is provided, which can remove various microorganisms, algae and bacteria living in underwater using metal ion without using extra chemicals. CONSTITUTION: The sterilizing device comprises a main body(1) through the inlet and outlet of which water enters and is discharged; a first and a second electric bars(10,12) installed in the main body(1) penetrating the top plate at different sites; a first and a second electric plates(60a,60b) constituted by combined plates of platinum group element and transition metal group element respectively; a first and a second current control parts for controlling current supplied to the first and second electric plates(60a,60b); a rectifying/constant voltage generating part constituted by a controller to control the operation time of the first and the second current control parts(50,55) by the action of a timer, wherein the rectifying/constant voltage generating part is installed to supply electrostatic voltage to the current control parts and a controller.
