PURPOSE: A vehicle audio/video system having the hands-free function is provided to incorporate the hands-free function into an audio/video system without using a hands-free kit additionally, thereby promoting the safe driving. CONSTITUTION: A vehicle audio/video system having the hands-free function includes an audio amp(3) for amplifying and outputting phone call sounds of a cellular phone(80), a microcomputer(20) for outputting a control signal according to a conversation signal of a send key(10) of the cellular phone, a power supply part(30) for supplying power to an audio circuit part and automatically turning on the audio/video system according to a power control signal of the microcomputer and the selection of the send key even when the audio/video system is turned off, a signal processing part(40) for outputting a signal for the on-screen display of the cellular phone according to a control signal of the microcomputer, an audio switching part(50) for converting the cellular phone into a hands-free mode according to the control signal of the microcomputer or releasing the hands-free mode by a key selection, and a microphone amp(60) for amplifying the voice signal of a microphone to output to the cellular phone in case of conversation.
