The method for controlling a drive device in a motor-driven vehicle during starting processes is characterized by detecting the operating state and state of travel of the vehicle, thereby detecting a starting process to be actually carried out. In order to provide assistance during the starting process, the set engine speed, without intervention of the driver, is increased to a value that exceeds the set idle speed of the engine. The actual engine speed is controlled to the set speed by means of a speed governor by additionally injecting fuel. |
