An oral composition for the removal of discolored pellicle, characterized by containing one or more linear water-soluble polyphosphate salts of the general formula (1): Mn+2PnO3n+1 (1) (wherein M is Na or K; and n is an integer of 2 or above) and particles having a mean diameter of 50 to 1,000 ñm and a fracture strength of 10 to 200 g/particle.
