<p>The invention concerns a method for making secure a generator (1) generating pseudo-random numbers (5). The generator (1) is characterized by its internal state. The generator (1) comprises: a first storage zone (2) containing state bits (3), representing the internal state of said generator (1); a computing unit (4) performing arithmetic operations on said state bits (3) to produce said pseudo-random numbers (5) and modify the state bits (3); a second storage zone (6) containing said pseudo-random numbers (5); a single output (7) for reading said pseudo-random numbers (5) contained in said second storage zone (6). The inventive method includes the step which consists in irreversibly and unconditionally inhibiting, in particular through logical and/or mechanical and/or electronic means, reading and writing of said state bits (3) from outside said generator (1), including via said single output (7).</p> |
