The system includes an energy transmission ring (5) turning inside a hollow energy absorption ring (6) and connected to the drive shaft (1) by a cross-connection (2) and pendulum arms (3). Forces between the rings are transmitted by an axial bearing (11) with balls or rollers near the periphery of the energy transmission ring. The energy absorption ring is supported on stub shafts (7) held in bearings (8) at right-angles to the drive shaft. A control lever (9) enables the energy absorption ring to be turned.
